Fame

The story of a diverse group of students at New York City’s celebrated High School of Performing Arts ran as a TV show for six seasons, winning numerous Emmy Awards, broadcast in over 70 countries around the world. The musical then ran for a decade on the West End, with new productions announced around the world every year.

This unique Australian production, directed and choreographed by the magnificent Kelly Abbey, boasted an energetic cast featuring stars from  So You Think You Can Dance, performing explosive choreography and breathtakingly new renditions of the classic songs from the original stage show.

Fame was nominated for numerous Helpmann Awards, with sell-out seasons in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. Produced by John Frost.
